Greenbank: Man, 25, charged with murder of 3-week-old baby boy south of Brisbane in 2024
A man has been charged with the murder of a three-week-old baby boy who died in hospital more than 18 months ago.

A man has been charged with the murder of a three-week-old baby more than 18 months ago, with detectives alleging the child suffered “internal injuries”.
The baby boy was presented to Queensland Children’s Hospital on July 18, 2024 in a critical condition.
He died four days later.

“Detectives undertook an extensive and protracted investigation and recently received results from comprehensive medical examinations, which indicate the child sustained internal injuries,” Queensland Police said in a statement issued on Monday.
It will be alleged the child received the injuries at a Rosemary St address in Greenbank, south of Brisbane.
A 25-year-old Cleveland man – who was known to the child – was arrested on Monday morning.
He has been charged with a single count of murder and will front Brisbane Magistrates Court.
Police investigations continue.
