Man, 30, critically injured in third serious Gold Coast motorbike crash in as many days

Gold Coast paramedics have sounded the alarm over a series of motorbike crashes that have led to critical injuries for young men.

A man was critically injured when he rode his motorbike into the gutter of a Gold Coast road, then into a tree.

The 30-year-old man was riding on Wardoo St in Southport when he crashed about 12.50pm on Thursday.

He suffered a significant head injury and was taken to Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition.
