Man stabbed in Evanston Gardens in Adelaide’s north during confrontation over car break-ins

The 42-year-old was seriously injured in the early morning altercation.

A 42-year-old man was seriously injured when he was stabbed by men breaking into cars in Adelaide’s north.

Witnesses reported two men were breaking into cars along Gonis Cct in Evanston Gardens at 2.15am on Tuesday.

The 42-year-old man followed the pair and was stabbed in the back.

South Australia Police said he was taken to hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries.

Police are searching for the men involved.
