Sydney: Three men charged after two women assaulted at their homes in Arcliffe and Bankstown
Police have charged three men after two women were allegedly attacked inside their homes during a series of home invasions in Sydney.

New South Wales Police have charged three men after two women were allegedly assaulted inside their homes during a series of home break-ins across Sydney’s southern suburbs.
Officers were alerted to the first incident on Tuesday about midnight after receiving reports a group of unknown men had forced their way into a Marinea Street property in Arncliffe.
Once at the scene, detectives were informed a 31-year-old woman was allegedly threatened with a knife before being sexually assaulted and robbed.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.“Police were told a group of unknown men forced entry into the property before allegedly threatening a 31-year-old woman with a knife, sexually assaulting her, and stealing money,” the force said in a statement provided to The Nightly.
She sustained minor injuries and was later to a nearby hospital for medical treatment.
Just two days later, the trio allegedly attacked another woman about 15km away in the suburb of Bankstown in a similar incident.
Police attended a unit on Jacobs Street about 12.30am on Thursday after the trio of men allegedly broke into the property before assaulting a 32-year-old woman and stealing money from the residence.
First responders took the woman to hospital with minor injuries.
After ongoing investigations and extensive enquiries, the force said detectives from the Sex Crimes charged three men in relation to the two incidents after conducting arrest warrants on Thursday night.
A 20-year-old Belmore man, a 19-year-old Punchbowl man and an 18-year-old Greenacre man have been charged with a slew ofi offences, including two counts of choking someone, depriving someone of liberty, assault and aggravated robbery.
The younger men will face a Bankstown court on Friday, while the 20-year-old will front Burwood Local Court.
