Mystery winner of $1.8 million Saturday Lotto prize yet to come forward
Players are urged to check their tickets.

One lucky lotto winner is unknowingly walking around a millionaire as a winning ticket remains unclaimed.
Sydneysiders were on a roll with two division one wins sharing in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto prize of $3.6 million.
A woman from Merrylands claimed her $1.8 million slice of the prize, however a second winner from Belmore in the city’s southwest is yet to do the same.

“It’s amazing how one ticket can change someone’s life,” the newsagency team said. “Congratulations to the winner and all the best on your future endeavours.”
A spokesperson for The Lott said the unknown winner was not part of the Lott Members Club and had not registered the ticket online, so there was no way to contact him or her.
“Our mystery winner is likely oblivious to the fact they won $1.8 million in the weekend’s Saturday Lotto draw,” The Lott’s Khat McIntyre said.
“We’ve already shared the life-changing news with the Merrylands winner, and we’re ready to do the same with this mystery Belmore player.”
The Merrylands winner said she and her husband had celebrated the win over a glass of champagne.
“I’m still in shock” she said.
“When I checked my ticket on Sunday morning, I couldn’t even process it.
“We had a bottle of bubbles to celebrate but other than that, we’ve just been going on with our daily life because it’s barely sunk in.”
The lucky winner said she doesn’t always play, but will buy a ticket when the jackpot is big enough.
““Something we’ve always wanted to do is buy a house and now we can. It’s incredible,” she said.
Players are being asked to check their tickets to see if they’re the lucky winners of Saturday’s draw.
“We’re encouraging anyone who purchased a Saturday Lotto ticket from Belmore Newsagency to check their tickets today,” McIntyre said.
“Just imagine how exhilarating it would be to discover you’ve won division one. Your plans for the rest of the year and into the future would quickly change.”
Earlier this month, another call out was made for a mystery winner who bought a Powerball ticket worth $100 million last June.
The lucky winner is yet to come forward and claim the prize over a year later.
