“Thanks for your patience and understanding, and we’re sorry for the inconvenience,” a NAB spokesperson said.

“Our digital services are now starting to come back online. While we continue to restore services, customers may experience some intermittent login and experience issues. All other services are working as normal.”

Customers are also unable to use their cards to pay for anything.

Nab customers have taken to social media to express their frustration, with one person saying the outage is “completely unacceptable”.

“Absolutely unacceptable, @NAB. I can’t access any of my NAB accounts or NAB Trading. No access, no updates, no ETA,just a generic apology while my finances are locked up. Get it together. This isn’t a minor inconvenience, it’s a failure,” the person posted on X in response to NAB’s apology.

Another said: “yeah, apparently not being able to feed your family is just an “inconvenience”. Pffft! F**k off!”
