An 11-year-old boy has been seriously injured after being shot inside a home in Sydney’s north west on Monday afternoon.
About 5pm, police were called to a property on Fairway Drive, Norwest, after reports of a shooting.
Officers attached to The Hills Police Area Command attended and found that an 11-year-old boy had been shot in the face and neck.

Five other people who were in the home at the time of the shooting are uninjured.
Police have established a crime scene and an investigation into the cause of the incident has commenced.
Initial inquires indicate the shooting occurred inside the home.
Investigations into the incident are continuing.
