Accused killer cop Beau Lamarre-Condon has been sacked from the NSW Police Force, weeks after being charged with double murder.

Mr Lamarre-Condon is accused of killing Channel 10 TV presenter Jesse Baird, 26, and Qantas flight attendant Luke Davies, 29, while he was off-duty. It is alleged he used his police-issued gun to kill the couple after entering Mr Baird’s home in inner-city Paddington on February 19.

The couple’s bodies were found inside surfboard bags at the fence line of a rural property in Bungonia near Goulburn, about 200km southwest of the city, on 27 February.

Mr Lamarre-Condon had been a senior constable with the police force and had been working with Sydney special command at the time of the alleged murders.

In a statement, the NSW Police Force confirmed an off-duty police officer charged with two counts of murder in Sydney’s eastern suburbs had been removed.

“Under section 181D of the Police Act 1990, the Commissioner has the ability to remove officers if she has lost confidence in their suitability to continue as a police officer.”

Mr Lamarre-Condon became embroiled in controversy during his time with NSW Police, having been involved in the high-profile arrest of an Indigenous person who was repeatedly tasered by the officer while on the ground.

He was later vindicated by internal investigators.

Prior to his police career, he was a celebrity blogger and selfie-collector.

The then 19-year-old first hit the headlines in 2014, when he threw a note revealing his sexuality on to the stage of singer Lady Gaga, who read the confession out to thousands in attendance.

The singer and actress then took Mr Lamarre-Condon backstage. Others in his celebrity album included Selena Gomez, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Lorde, Harry Styles and members of the Kardashian clan.

On one Instagram account, Mr Lamarre-Condon boasted about an audience with Taylor Swift. And in 2016, he was interviewing Hollywood A-listers at the Golden Globes.

Mr Lamarre-Condon has been charged with two counts of murder and is currently in Silverwater prison.

He is due to face court again on April 23.
