A multi-vehicle crash on a major Sydney highway has sparked traffic chaos, with cars at a standstill across the city’s south.
A multi-vehicle crash along the Princes Highway has caused traffic chaos stretching kilometres across Sydney’s south.
Two cars collided on the highway near the King Georges Road intersection at Blakehurst, north of Tom Ugly’s Bridge, about 1.24pm on Tuesday.
A Transport for NSW spokesman said all southbound lanes were closed bringing traffic to a standstill that stretched about 5km to the St George and Kogarah areas.

Two lanes have since reopened.
A NSW Police spokesman said no injuries were reported in the incident.
Authorities expect all lanes to be reopened shortly.
