Bogangar crash: 17-year-old dies after horror crash in New South Wales’ far north

A teenager has died following a single-vehicle crash in New South Wales’ far north at the weekend.

The 17-year-old was driving on Clothiers Creek Road, Bogangar, when his car left the road and crashed into trees about 11pm on Saturday, September 21.

Emergency services were called to the scene and the teen was treated by QLD Ambulance paramedics before being taken to the Gold Coast University Hospital in a critical condition. NSW Police said the young man was the only one in the car.

The teenager died in hospital on Thursday.

Tweed/Byron Police District are investigating the crash and report will be prepared for the Coroner.
