The daughter of millionaire businessman John Singleton was shopping for make-up for her wedding to a NSW police officer before she was killed in the Bondi massacre.

And it has been revealed her policeman fiance had been called to the horror unfolding at Westfield Bondi Junction on Saturday before she was identified as one of the victims.

Dawn Singleton was reportedly shopping for make-up at Chanel ahead of her wedding to childhood sweetheart Ashley Wildey, before she was set upon by Joel Cauchi in a stabbing rampage.

Ms Singleton had been excitedly preparing for the big day, having only bought her wedding dress last week.

Mr Wildey had reportedly finished a shift on Saturday but had been recalled to duty as the stabbing unfolded, arriving before his colleagues identified Ms Singleton as one of the victims.

Friends posted tributes to Ms Singleton on social media on Sunday, remembering the engaged 25-year-old as a kind and caring person who lit up every room she entered.

Jade O’Connor, at whose wedding Ms Singleton was a bridesmaid, said she was devastated by her friend’s death.

“Dawn, I should be writing your wedding speech instead I sit here sobbing coming to terms with how life isn’t fair that you are no longer here,” Ms O’Connor wrote on Facebook.

“Dawn, you were my best friend, my absolute whole world.”

“You were kind and caring and the absolute best dog mum. You lit up every room you walked into.

“This year you were meant to get married to the love of your life, and you were meant to be the Godmother to Baby O.”

“I’m not sure how I am meant to live in a world without you. I’m so broken and can’t believe this is reality. I love you so much Dawn and I will remember you every day for the rest of my life.”

Ms Singleton was one of Mr Singleton’s eight children. Her mother is lawyer Julie Martin.

She was due to marry a NSW Police officer this year. The couple had been together since high school.

In a tribute posted online, fashion company White Fox Boutique said it had not only lost an employee but “someone special to us who felt like a family member”.

“We are all truly devastated by this loss,” the statement said. “Dawn was a sweet, kind-hearted person who had her whole life ahead of her. She was really amazing.”

NSW Police said Queensland man Joel Cauchi, 40, killed in total five women aged between 20 and 55 and one man aged in his 30s.

Among the injured are nine women, Good’s infant daughter and two men.

A NSW Health spokeswoman said the nine-month-old baby girl was in a stable but critical condition at the Royal Children’s Hospital.

Another female victim is fighting for her life in intensive care at St Vincent’s Hospital, where a male patient is in critical but stable condition and two female patients are in a stable condition. Two patients, a man and a woman, are at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in stable conditions.

The NSW Health spokeswoman said three female patients were in a stable condition at the Prince of Wales Hospital. A female patient is in a stable condition at St George Hospital while another woman is in a serious but stable condition at the Royal North Shore Hospital.

NSW Police Assistant Commissioner Anthony Cooke said what motivated Cauchi, who had mental health issues, remained unclear but whether he had targeted women during the deadly rampage would form part of the investigation.
