Cecil Hills: Shots fired into home in Sydney’s South West

Gunman unleashes spray of bullets on Cecill Hills home in drive-by.

Police are investigating after a home in Sydney’s south west was sprayed with bullets in the early hours of Friday morning.

Officers were called to Stirling Street, Cecil Hills, around 2am following reports that shots had been fired at a residential property.

When they arrived, Liverpool City Police Area Command found the front of the home had been targeted, with several rounds discharged before the offenders fled in a vehicle.

7 News obtained vision of a black car pulling up out the front of the home, before firing six shots. The car then sped off down Stirling Street, heading toward Liverpool.

No one inside the house was hurt during the incident.

A crime scene was established and Liverpool City detectives began an investigation, with forensic teams scouring the area for evidence throughout the early hours of Friday.
