One person has been injured when a bus full of passengers crashed into a home in Sydney’s southwest.

The bus crashed into the home on Aplin Rd in Bonnyrigg Heights about 9.50am on Tuesday.

The male bus driver was treated by paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital with injuries to his hand and arms caused from broken glass.

NSW Ambulance said six bus passengers were also assessed by paramedics but did not require hospital treatment.

It is understood no one was inside the house at the time.

The structure of the house has also been deemed safe, according to Fire and Rescue NSW.

It’s not yet known what caused the crash and investigations are continuing.
