A man has been crushed to death after hundreds of kilograms of glass fell on him at a property in Sydney’s northwest.

A man has been crushed to death after hundreds of kilograms of glass fell on him at a residential property in Sydney’s northwest.

Emergency services were called to the property in Valencia St in Dural about 11.30am on Monday.

In a statement, NSW Police said the man, 49, was treated at the scene by paramedics, but could not be revived and was declared deceased.

“Officers from The Hills Police Area Command have been informed that the man was delivering glass panes at the premises when a number of sheets collapsed on the man.

“A crime scene was established and Worksafe NSW notified. A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.”

The Daily Mail reports up to 300kg of glass fell on him.
