Forest Lodge: Arrest after 86-year-old allegedly touches children through school fence in western Sydney

Staff and students have been left to deal with a shocking situation after an elderly man allegedly touched several children through a suburban primary school fence.
The 86-year-old man has been arrested and charged after allegedly touching the young girls in Sydney’s Inner West earlier this month.
Police confirmed that detectives had been called to the school at Forest Lodge after reports an unknown man allegedly approached the schoolgirls – aged between 8 and 9 – from outside the school grounds between Wednesday September, and Thursday September 4.

By continuing you agree to our Terms and Privacy Policy.Following investigations, police swooped on the 86 man at the intersection of Bridge Road and Foss Street, Forest Lodge at around 2pm on Tuesday.
He was taken to Newtown Police Station and charged with three counts of sexually touch a child under the age of 10.
He was refused bail and will appear before the bail court on Wednesday.
