Guildford: Horror scene as young man killed after motorbike hits a bus in Sydney

A horror scene for first responders has played out after a motorbike ploughed into a bus, killing a young man in Sydney’s western suburbs.

Just before 11pm on Tuesday, emergency services were called to McCredie Road, near Fowler Road at Guildford, after reports of a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle and a bus.

A male – believed to be aged in his late teens - died at the scene.

A second man – also believed to be aged in late teens - was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for non-life-threatening injuries before being taken to Westmead Hospital for further treatment.

Officers attached to Cumberland Police Area Command established a crime scene and an investigation has commenced into the circumstances surrounding the crash.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
