Petersham Inn: Three men charged after violent late-night brawl erupts outside sports bar

Three men have been charged after a late-night brawl erupted at a hotel in Sydney’s inner West.
Police were called to the venue on Parramatta Road, Leichhardt, about 10.45pm on Thursday after reports of a fight involving multiple people.
Officers from Inner West police area command arrived to find three men — two aged 27 and one aged 28 — requiring treatment from NSW Ambulance paramedics.

Both were taken to Newtown police station, charged with affray and granted conditional bail to face Newtown Local Court on November 4.
The 28-year-old man was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital for treatment before being taken to Newtown police station.

He was later charged with affray and with remaining in the vicinity of a licensed premises while excluded. He was also granted conditional bail to appear before Newtown Local Court on the same date.
