Little boy killed in accidental shooting on rural NSW property

A little boy has been killed in an accidental shooting on a NSW property.
The nine-year-old was shot in the neck when the gun went off about 11.20am at a property on Fernleigh Close in Windellama near Gouldburn, NSW Police said.
Paramedics treated the boy at the property, but he died.

“Officers ... were told a 9-year-old boy had been injured after the accidental discharge of a firearm.” NSW Police said.
“Police have commenced an investigation into the cause of the incident.
“A report will be prepared for the information of the coroner.”
