Macquarie Fields, Sydney: Probe launched after ‘multiple shots’ fired into home

Shots have been fired into a home in Macquarie Fields in Sydney's southwest. No one was injured.

An investigation is underway after multiple shots were fired at a home in Sydney’s South-West overnight.

Emergency services were called to Petunia Place in Macquarie Fields about 10.50pm on Wednesday following reports of gunfire.

Officers from Campbelltown City police area command were told several shots had been fired at the property by unknown offenders before they fled the scene.

No one was injured during the incident.

A crime scene has been established, and police have launched an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
