Man charged over Boxing Day stabbing on Central Coast

A man has been charged after an alleged stabbing at a restaurant on Boxing Day.
Paramedics and police were called to a restaurant on The Entrance Road at The Entrance on the NSW Central Coast after reports of a stabbing about 6pm on Friday.

He was airlifted to hospital in a serious condition.
In the wake of the attack, police arrested a 40-year-old man nearby at Long Jetty and took him to Wyong Police Station.
He is believed to be known to the stabbing victim and has been charged with reckless wounding (domestic violence) and with breaching an apprehended domestic violence order.
The 40-year-old was refused bail and will appear before Parramatta Bail Court on Saturday.
