NSW Police officer arrested in Sydney, charged with misconduct, child abuse and bestiality material possession

A New South Wales Police officer has been charged with multiple offences, including misconduct in public office and possession of child abuse and bestiality material, following an internal investigation.
Police say Strike Force Blumont was established in March to investigate reports of unauthorised access to the police computer system.
“In May, strike force investigators seized the electronic devices of a senior constable - attached to a command in the Northern region - which have since been forensically examined,” a police spokesperson said.
