Beattie said she was shocked by how far the video had travelled.

“It’s crazy. You know, for something I just did for basically sh**s and giggles and posted on my little TikTok page, it’s gone crazy,” she said.

The idea wasn’t entirely new for Beattie, who revealed she had attempted similar stunts in the past.

“I used to ride through Macca’s in Cooma 25 years ago and got served. So we thought we’d give it a go and see what they did,” she explained.

When questioned about the legality of taking a horse through a drive-through, Beattie was quick to defend the mode of transport.

“I’m under the theory that your horses are still a valid form of transport, and if you can get done DUI on them, why can’t you go through a drive-thru with them?” she said.

The McDonald’s staff appeared to take the unusual order in stride, with Beattie noting they seemed excited by the visit.

Bronson was notably quiet during the interview, but Beattie said he “absolutely devoured” the soft serve.

As for whether there will be future adventures for Bronson at the drive-through, only time will tell.

McDonald’s however previously issued a statement after the stunt first went viral, saying it did not allow horses through its drive-thrus.

“The safety of our people and customers is our top priority at McDonald’s,” a McDonald’s spokesperson said.

“We do not allow customers on horseback in the drive-through, for the safety of the rider, our employees, fellow customers, and the animal.”
