A group of regretful robbers have escaped police attention after one of the criminals had a change of heart moments after grabbing cash from a Western Sydney Pizza Hut.

The group of men decided to rob Guilford Pizza Hut on Sunday night, storming the fast food branch at about 10.30pm and taking cash from the register before running off.

But moments later, one of the men appeared to have a change of heart, walking back into the store and returning the money.

No staff were hurt during the incident and when police eventually arrived, the Pizza Hut confirmed it wouldn’t be looking to press charges.

The kindness from the Pizza Hut owners also meant police decided not to pursue the case.
