Police probe launched after woman, 32, found dead on Ten Mile beach on NSW north coast

A woman has been found dead on a beach on the NSW north coast.

The 32-year-old was found on Ten Mile beach in Iluka, just south of the Queensland border, at around 10am on Saturday.

Officers attached to the Coffs Harbour Police District say they located the body following reports from members of the public who made the grim discovery.

Investigations are now underway into the circumstances of the woman’s death, which police say remains unclear.

Police are urging anyone with information to contact crime stoppers on 1800 333 000 or online.

Ten Mile beach is located around 660km north of Sydney, just under two hours south of the state’s border with Queensland.
