Qantas crew alert AFP after restraining ‘disruptive’ passenger on Perth–Sydney flight, police confirm

A “disruptive” passenger has been removed from a Qantas plane by police.

Flight crew on board QF654 requested assistance from the Australian Federal Police due to a disruptive passenger ahead of touching down at Sydney Airport on Wednesday morning.

The flight had departed from Perth.

An AFP spokesperson confirmed officers removed a passenger who had been restrained on board the flight.

No arrest or charges have yet been confirmed.
