Surry Hills: Teenage boy, 17, dies after falling from five-storey building in Sydney’s inner-east
The boy was treated by paramedics but he died at the scene.

A teenager has died after falling from a building in Sydney’s inner-east.
The 17-year-old was with two friends on Elizabeth St in Surry Hills about 9pm Tuesday when he fell five storeys.
“Officers attached to Surry Hills Police Area Command attended and located a 17-year-old boy suffering critical injuries,” a police statement read.

Police are yet to confirm if the boy was on the ledge or in a window when he fell.
They are also investigating why the teenagers were at the site, and if the boy’s death was a case of misadventure.
“Inquiries are continuing,” police said.
