Police later found one of two cars used in the kidnapping near an abandoned house in South Wentworthville.

The search ended when police received a call about 7.40pm that night saying the man had been released in Grantham Farm, in Sydney’s south-west.

He reportedly knocked on a nearby door and the neighbour contacted police.

Police believe the man has ties to the Commanchero bikie gang, according to reports in The Daily Telegraph.

The man was treated by ambulance paramedics for injuries to his face but has reportedly refused to cooperate with police and did not wish to go to hospital.

“Police were called to a business in Silverwater, following reports a man had been kidnapped,” police said in a statement on Tuesday.

“Officers attached to state crime command’s robbery and serious crime squad attended and commenced an investigation into the incident under Strike Force Feller.

“Following inquiries, about 7.40pm the same day, detectives were called to an address in Grantham Farm where the man had been released.“He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics for facial injuries.“Inquiries are continuing.”
