Sydney Trains delays: Urgent signal repairs at Clyde disrupt multiple lines
Chaos has erupted across Sydney’s train network during the Monday peak, with commuters caught up in widespread disruptions.
Sydney commuters have been hit with delays of up to 30 minutes after urgent signal repairs at Clyde station caused widespread disruptions across the train network on Monday morning.
The repairs, which have since been completed, affected several major routes across Sydney’s west, with services running behind schedule in both directions.
Sydney Trains warned passengers that delays could continue as services returned to normal.

The disruptions affected the T1 North Shore and Richmond Line, T2 Inner West and Leppington Line, T3 Liverpool Line and T5 Leppington and Richmond Line.
Blue Mountains Line services were also impacted in both directions between Central and Bathurst.
The disruptions have also extended to the Central Coast Line, with NSW TrainLink warning passengers on Monday that some services were still running behind schedule following the earlier signal repairs.
“Some trains are running late due to earlier signal repairs,” NSW TrainLink West said in an update on X.
“Stopping patterns and departure platforms may change at short notice.”
Passengers have been urged to allow extra travel time, check transport apps and station information screens, and listen for announcements about last-minute platform changes.
