Teen dies in crash with parked vehicle at Corrimal, north of Wollongong, NSW

An 18-year-old man has died in a crash with a parked vehicle on Saturday night.

An 18-year-old man died in a crash in Corrimal, 8km north of Wollongong, about 8.10pm on Saturday.

He was driving a red Mitsubishi hatchback on Rothery St when he smashed into a parked vehicle.

Paramedics attempted to save the young man, but he died at the scene.

“There were no other injuries reported due to this incident,” NSW Police said.

The vehicle was seized to be forensically examined, and investigations into the crash are ongoing.

A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
