A broken bottle was the choice of weapon as a teenager allegedly stabbed a man in the chest during a brawl in the shadows of the harbour bridge in Sydney.

The brawl erupted in the Sydney CBD at about 12.30am on Sunday before emergency services responded to reports a 20-year-old man had been stabbed in the chest with a broken glass bottle.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated the man at the scene before he was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital in a stable condition.
