Teenager charged over stabbing of boy at Chifley house party in Sydney

A teenager has been charged after another teen was stabbed with a machete at a house party in Sydney‘s east last weekend.
The 16-year-old was allegedly attacked outside a home on Carnegie Cr in Chifley on July 5.
The teen was standing outside the home with an 18-year-old man when they were approached by 10 people, two of whom were armed with machetes.

He suffered cuts to his back and legs and was taken to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a stable condition.

Following an investigation, police arrested a 16-year-old boy over the violent incident.
He was charged with five offences including weapons, stalking and drugs charges and was refused bail to appear before a children’s court on Friday.
Police are continuing to investigate the incident.
