Toddler dies in fall from vehicle on property in Cootamundra, NSW

A two-year-old boy died when he fell from an all-terrain vehicle in rural NSW, with a man now charged with dangerous driving over the incident.

The toddler was rushed to Cootamundra Hospital after he fell from the vehicle on a rural property on Dudauman Rd, Cootamundra just after 3pm on September 6.

He was pronounced dead on arrival.

A three-year-old boy was uninjured in the incident.

Specialist police began investigating and have since charged the 34-year-old male driver over the crash.

He was issued with a future court attendance notice for the offence of dangerous driving occasioning death and will face Cootamundra Local Court on December 16.

A report will be prepared for the coroner.
