Two men have been charged after a 19-year-old woman was found dead at a unit in North Bondi on Tuesday morning.

Emergency services were called to a unit on Hardy Street in North Bondi about 9.20am on Tuesday after reports a woman had been found unresponsive.

Police and paramedics located the body of a woman — who is yet to be formally identified — and arrested a 32-year-old man, who had an outstanding warrant, at the scene and transported him to Waverley Police Station to assist with inquiries.

A crime scene was established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway.

Following inquiries, police searched an address in Flood Street, Bondi at about 5.10pm on Tuesday where they seized 1g of meth and cannabis.

A 34-year-old man was arrested at the address and charged with two counts of possessing a prohibited drug. He was issued a field court attendance to appear at Waverley Local Court on June 18.

The 32-year-old man was later charged with multiple offences, including an outstanding warrant for larceny, three counts of entering a vehicle or boat without consent of owner/occupier, destroying or damaging property, hinder or resist police officer in the execution of duty, and goods suspected stolen in/on premises.

He was refused bail to appear before Downing Centre Local Court on Wednesday.

Investigations into the 19-year-old woman’s death continue, and NSW Police said detectives were looking into a number of lines of inquiry, “including misadventure”.

A post-mortem will be conducted to determine the woman’s cause of death and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

No charges have been laid over the woman’s death.

More to come.
