Her arrest comes more than a year after police allegedly foiled the planned killing when officers spotted a suspicious BMW with cloned number plates in Bankstown on September 26, 2025.

Police approached the vehicle on Columbine Avenue about 3pm, but the driver allegedly sped away, sparking a pursuit through Bankstown and Padstow.
Officers eventually abandoned the chase over safety concerns.
A subsequent search of the area uncovered a loaded handgun allegedly discarded on Fairford Road, while the BMW was found abandoned in Revesby about 40 minutes after it was first spotted.
The discovery sparked a major investigation, with detectives uncovering what they allege was a coordinated plot to murder a high-profile underworld figure.
Investigators claim those involved had organised vehicles, conducted surveillance on their intended target, arranged getaway drivers and coordinated the planned hit.

Four males, including a 17-year-old boy, were charged in April following police raids across Sydney.
A further two men, aged 23 and 28, were charged in April and May, with police alleging both had been inside the BMW when the handgun was discarded.
Friday’s arrest was carried out by Taskforce Falcon detectives, assisted by officers from the Raptor Squad.
The seven people charged in connection with the alleged murder plot remain before the courts.
Taskforce Falcon has now arrested 887 people and laid 2269 charges as part of its wider crackdown on organised crime.
Investigations are continuing.
