Woman seriously injured in Merrylands West when allegedly thrown off balcony by 34-year-old man

A woman has been seriously injured when she was thrown off a balcony in Sydney’s west, police allege.
Emergency services were called to Arthur St in Merrylands West just before 8pm on Sunday over concern for welfare reports.
The woman was treated for serious injuries at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital in a stable condition.

He was charged with breaching an apprehended domestic violence order, intentionally choking a person, and assault occasioning actual bodily harm (DV).
The accused was refused bail and will appear in the Liverpool Local Court on March 19.
