Young boy suffers serious injuries as he is trampled by horse in Western Sydney

A young boy has been seriously injured when he was trampled by a horse in Western Sydney over the weekend.

The child was trampled on Sunday in Londonderry, about 60km northwest of the Sydney CBD.

He was treated at the scene by CareFlight’s specialist doctor and NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was airlifted to The Children’s Hospital at Westmead.
