She's told police a naked man stalked her along a bush track, when she was walking her dog.

A Perth woman has described the moment she was forced to run for her life after being stalked by a naked man while hiking alone in the hills.

Elizabeth Straughan told police a naked man followed her along a bush track in the Canning Mills Reserve while she was walking her dog.

Ms Straughan said the mans shirt was tied over his face.

“The terror just sieged through me,” Ms Straughan said.

“(I thought) what’s going to happen now. I knew. I need to out run him.”

Ms Straughan called triple zero and said she heard the police sirens within minutes. She sprinted towards them.

As the sirens got louder Ms Straughan said she looked back only to find the man behind her had vanished into the bush.

Despite a rapid police response, the man was not found and no arrests have been made.
