Moments later the men can be seen running back the way they came, with what appears to be blood streaming down the back of one of the men’s shirts.
Two cars fled the scene before police arrived.
Three men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries including one with a stab wound and two with head injuries.
Another neighbour was caught up in the violence, with their car window smashed during the brawl.
“A fight broke out between our neighbours and then it was really hostile,” Reehan Naeem said.
“It’s their fight and now our stuff is damaged, like that’s frustrating.”
The family of the stabbed man told 7NEWS he came out of his house and asked his neighbours to keep the noise down, then confronted them when it continued.
He is now recovering in hospital after undergoing surgery for a punctured lung.
A 31-year-old Brookfield man and a 27-year-old Truganina man were arrested at the scene and were charged with assault and affray.
They were bailed to attend Werribee Magistrates Court on March 25, 2025.
“Investigations remain ongoing to identify others involved in the incident,” police said.
Anyone who witnessed the incident, with any CCTV footage or further information is urged to contact Crime Stoppers.
