Gang of men stab a woman and teenager during home invasion in Gulfview Heights, Adelaide

Police believe a home invasion which led to three people being attacked and injured may have been targeted.

Investigations are underway into the incident at Gulfview Heights in Adelaide where two people were stabbed.

At about 3.45am on Wednesday, police were called to a home on Nelson Road after reports that a group of armed males forced entry into the property and stabbed two occupants.

The group left the scene in a vehicle which was last seen turning onto Yulinda Terrace.

A 53-year-old woman and a 17-year-old boy were both taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. A third person was also taken to hospital with minor injuries after being assaulted.

It is early in the investigation however police do not believe this to be a random incident.
