The man was rushed to hospital by paramedics after treatment on the scene.
Police have launched an investigation after a man was shot in broad daylight on Tuesday afternoon in Sydney’s south west.
Emergency services were called to a block of units on Charles Street in Liverpool at approximately 12.40pm EST, following reports of a shooting.
Police say a 32-year-old man was found at the property with a gunshot wound to his leg.

“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is underway,” a police statement said.
Police are urging any person who has information or video footage, including CCTV and dashcam, to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
