Newell Highway closed after multi-vehicle crash kills four people near Tomingley, NSW
Investigators have begun the onerous task of piecing together what led to an awful car crash that has left four people dead in NSW.
At about 9.20pm on Friday, emergency services were called to the Newell Highway, Tomingley, following reports of the multi-vehicle crash.
Officers attached to Orana Mid-Western Police District attended the scene and found two vehicles had collided.

The male driver of one of the vehicles, age unknown, was taken to Dubbo Hospital with suspected leg injuries.
Police established a crime scene and commenced have commenced their inquiries into the crash.
The Newell Highway is closed in both directions and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
