We can show you for the first time the moment Beau Lamarre-Condon handed himself in to police over the killings of Jesse Baird and Luke Davies.

Accused double murderer Beau Lamarre-Condon had several cuts and abrasions on his hands days after he allegedly killed a Sydney couple, according to newly released photographs shown to a jury.

The new pictures come as the jury is told how the former police officer called Bondi police station the night before turning himself in to say he was “not avoiding them”.

Mr Lamarre-Condon, 31, is accused of murdering TV presenter Jesse Baird, whom he briefly dated, and the man’s new boyfriend, Qantas host Luke Davies, on February 19, 2024, at the journalist’s Paddington home.

The former police officer has pleaded not guilty and is arguing self-defence in a jury trial before the NSW Supreme Court.

It’s alleged Mr Lamarre-Condon knew he was a police suspect in the disappearances of Mr Baird and Mr Davies by at least February 22.

Mr Lamarre-Condon called Bondi police station about 6.30pm on February 22 and told an officer he was “not avoiding” detectives, according to a police officer’s statement read aloud to the jury on Thursday.

“Hi, it’s Beau Lamarre … I just either want to let a detective or sergeant know that I’m not avoiding them,” Mr Lamarre-Condon allegedly said in the call.

“They came to my home earlier, I think it may be about a complaint that I’m under, but I’m not avoiding them … Just tell them I will come in tomorrow.”

The next morning, Mr Lamarre-Condon called a police helpline and claimed he suffered “trauma” and had been “severely bullied” while on his way to hand himself in, with a recording of the call played to the jury.

“All this death and trauma and psychological abuse and trauma – did I say trauma already? – has caused me to not sleep, get anxious,” Mr Lamarre-Condon says in the call.

Shortly afterwards, footage released by the court captures the moment he walks into Bondi police station and is arrested for the alleged murders of the couple.

Photographs have now been released of cuts, scrapes and abrasions spotted on Mr Lamarre-Condon’s hands shortly after he turned himself in.
