Two people are in serious condition in hospital after a serious crash on the outskirts of Perth on Sunday.

Officers from the major crash investigation section are seeking information regarding a serious crash that occurred in Kings Park on Sunday.

At about 8.15pm, a white Holden Cruze hatchback was travelling west on Lovekin Drive, when the vehicle left the road and struck a tree.

The 40-year-old male driver and a 25-year-old female passenger sustained serious injuries and were conveyed by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
