The huge win comes after eight Australians have had their lives changed at the weekend, winning more than $660,000 by claiming a share of Saturday night’s division one Lotto draw.

Among the winners is a father-daughter duo from Belmont, in southern Geelong, whose 20-year-old TattsLotto tradition delivered the good news they so desperately needed.
“I’ve recently been diagnosed with stage four cancer, so not only will this help with treatments, but it will just allow me to enjoy life more,” the winning daughter told The Lott officials when they called to confirm the win.
“I’ve had some really hard times, but this is going to make life so much easier.”
Her father said the pair had been playing for 20 years, and he “almost had a heart attack” when he saw their numbers matching up on Saturday night.
Powerball lovers will have the chance to win up to $4 million in next Thursday’s draw.
Lucky players have the chance to win up to 15 million in the Oz Lotto, which will be drawn on Tuesday.
