Aussie travellers are scrambling to take advantage of a mega mid-winter domestic flight sale from Qantas.

In the last couple of months the ‘flying kangaroo’ has put millions of cheap seats up for sale and the latest round includes over 100 routes with one-way tickets falling to prices as low as $109.

The focus is firmly on the domestic network with travel between August 2024–March 2025, although the specifics vary per destination.

Punters will have to be quick to land a spot as the 72-hour-only sale, runs until 11.59pm AEST on Thursday, and as usual is on a ‘first-in, first-served’ basis. The sale will cease if the seats are sold prior.

The fares include checked baggage, complimentary food and drinks, free Wi-Fi and seat selection.

Qantas’ promotion is the airline’s sixth domestic and regional sale this year.
