Sydney: Three teenage boys from The Scot’s College charged over alleged sexual assault of 14yo girl

Three teenage boys have been charged after a 14-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in an alleyway in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs.

Police launched an investigation in July after receiving reports that the teenage girl had allegedly been sexually assaulted on the evening of July 22.

Detectives carried out extensive inquiries before executing search warrants at several homes about 7.30am on Thursday.

Officers seized a number of electronic devices which will undergo forensic examination during the searches.

Police also seized two replica firearms, three laser pointers and a number plate believed to have been stolen.

Three boys, aged 13, 14 and 14, were arrested following the searches and taken to Surry Hills Police Station.

“Both the 13-year-old and one 14-year-old were charged with aggravated sex assault-offender in company with others, and aggravated sexually touch another person (two counts),” a NSW Police spokesperson said.

“The other 14-year-old was charged with aggravated sex assault-offender in company with others, and aggravated sexually touch another person.”

All three boys were granted strict conditional bail and are due to appear before a children’s court on Tuesday, August 25.

Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that the boys attend Sydney’s prestigious The Scot’s College in Bellevue Hill. The Nightly has reached out to the school for comment.

The investigation remains ongoing, with police examining the seized electronic devices for potential evidence.

The boys cannot legally be identified due to their age.
