The initial idea quickly grew into something far bigger than a normal wedding.
“The couple’s love story is really special and they wanted their day to be just as unique,” Tobler explained.
“This has been about 18 months in the making.”
Olivia’s and Anthony’s ceremony began with a classic romantic touch, held in front of a cascading floral arch outside on the sun deck overlooking the Brisbane River.
White doves were released as the newlyweds shared their first kiss.

But after the nuptials, the guests were in for a surprise inside the hotel.
“It feels like stepping into the Netflix show itself,” Tobler said.
The couple made a dramatic entrance dressed as the show’s elite VIPs, flanked by their bridal party in full guard uniforms.
Twenty actors dressed in the iconic Squid Game costumes and masks interacted with guests throughout the night.
The MC, channeling the mysterious Front Man character, launched the evening’s challenges with a table-versus-table Dalgona Cookie competition.
Guests who passed the test advanced to a high stakes round of Red Light, Green Light.
“They have a secret room reveal for a red light green light extravaganza,” Tobler added.
Any movement meant a return to the start, and a cheeky champagne top-up.
The winner walked away with the ultimate prize: bragging rights and everlasting glory for being first across the finish line.

Wedding stylist Hannah Williams from Main Event Weddings said she originally thought the couple wanted a traditional all-white wedding.
“When they said they wanted a Squid Game theme, I was a little bit taken aback, but I was also excited because I thought ‘wow, this is actually going to challenge me’,” she said.
She explained she used the show’s signature colours — deep reds, blacks and golds — to create a modern yet luxurious atmosphere.
For the bride, pulling this off with the help of the hotel was never in question.
“Anthony is an anything-is-possible-kind-of-man,” she said.
