A 29-year-old man has died in hospital after a Queensland crash involving several trucks in the early hours of the morning.
A Queensland police spokesperson said a truck crashed at 1.50am on August 27 near Granite Creek Forestry Road.
The driver of a heavy vehicle stopped to assist the man, but that vehicle was then struck from behind by a number of trucks.

He sustained critical injuries in the crash and was initially rushed to Gladstone Base Hospital before being airlifted to Royal Brisbane Hospital.
The spokesperson said he died from his injuries overnight.
Two ambulances rushing to the scene also crashed en route, but the paramedics were uninjured.
The Rockhampton forensic crash unit is investigating the tragic incident and police have appealed to anyone who witnessed the crash or who has dashcam footage to get in touch by calling Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
