A teenage girl has suffered a head injury from being hit by a bus in Marsden, Logan.

A teenage girl was seriously injured when she was hit by a bus in Logan on Tuesday morning.

The girl, whose exact age is unknown, was struck near the Chambers Flat Rd-Tamarind St intersection in Marsden about 8.30am.

It is unknown if she was on the footpath or road when she was struck and it is believed the bus may have been turning into Tamarind St when it struck the girl.

She suffered a “potentially life-threatening head injury” and has been taken to Brisbane’s Princess Alexandra Hospital, Queensland Ambulance Service tweeted.
