A Gold Coast fitness coach and influencer has died while on holiday in Turkey, the 30-year-old’s family has revealed.

Jaxon Tippet’s grieving family confirmed the news to his 225,000 followers on Instagram and said they had been told the father-of-one died of a heart attack on Sunday.

“He was such a beautiful soul and had such a positive impact on the world,” a post said.

A statement from loved ones posted on his official Instagram account said: “We really appreciate your love and support during this time.”

“It’s clear that Jaxon had such a beautiful impact on people. From what we have been told, Jax passed away due to a heart attack while in Turkey.”

An online fundraising campaign has been launched to repatriate his body and farewell him with a fitting service.

“There really are no words to describe this sort of pain and we know a lot of people will be feeling this heartbreak with us as he was loved by so many,” Demi Tippet said.

“Jaxon would help anybody and everybody around him and now I hope we can get around Sharee and Mark to help assist in any way we can, starting with raising the funds to bring our son, brother, uncle and friend home and assist with funeral expenses.”

Tippet described himself on social media as a fitness coach, model and podcaster and previously opened up on how steroid abuse derailed his life, and how he used narrowly avoiding prison as a turning point.

He often shared motivational advice with his online followers.

In a Facebook post shared just two days ago, he said he avoided excuses.

“Just get it done. I work out either first thing in the morning or late at night if necessary,” he said.

“I don’t make excuses for the things I want in life. Sometimes sacrifices are necessary to achieve a certain goal.

“But if not now then when? Would you prefer to constantly complain you never achieved what you wanted?

“Or are you going to step up and do the hard work so that you get the results you want?”

In one of his final Instagram posts, he urged his following to “outwork your self-doubt”.

“Your opinion of you far outweighs others’ opinion of you. Respect starts with how you view yourself. Do it for you,” he said.

His death has been met with shock.

One follower described Tippet as a “pure heart”.

“Was selfless and loving. Heavy loss. Don’t take life for granted. Sending prayers and love for the family,” one tribute read.

The Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade told 7NEWS.com.au it was providing consular assistance to the family of an Australian who died in Turkey.

“We send our deepest condolences to the family at this difficult time.,” a spokesperson said.
